Music at St Andrew's

Music is part of our curriculum in St Andrew's, following the Charanga music scheme. We also teach whole class violins (Year 3), gamelan (Year 4) and brass (Year 5). Our Music Development Plan outlines more about the music provision at St Andrew's: Music Development Plan

School Choir

The school choir is led by Louise Graham.

Anyone who enjoys singing is welcome to join one of our Key Stage 2 choir (Years 3- 6), which meets on a Wednesday at 3pm. We sing in various events throughout the year, including the Festival of Voices and the Big Christmas Sing.

School Orchestra

Our school orchestra meets on Monday after school, led by Spike and Louise Graham. Children are invited to participate with instrumental skills reaching a certain level.

Music lessons

Individual music lessons can be booked through the Oxford County Council Music lessons | Oxfordshire County Council.

Letter from OCMS about learning an instrument at St Andrew's.
