What we are currently fundraising for
Playground climbing equipment
Replacing and upgrading the climbing equipment, as well as making a sheltered area which can be used for both play times and outside learning, is not cheap. We continue to need to raise money towards this improvement, which has been made in the hope that funds can be raised to cover the cost.
Extended learning weeks and enrichment activities
We’re delighted to help fund the activities around extended learning weeks, examples include History, Health & Wellbeing and Sustainability. We also like to support the annual whole school trip to the theatre by covering the cost of the coaches. Additionally, in order for all children to learn from trips, residentials and visitors, we would like to be able to give some donations towards these.
Replacement of astro-turf
SASA is also aware that the time will come when the current astro-turf will need to be replaced, at large expense. We are therefore setting aside funds towards this each year, with the aim of easing fundraising pressures when the time comes.
